Nuxeo
Nuxeo is a document management platform used to structure folders, documents, and business metadata. Connecting Nuxeo to Ordalie lets you browse that content from the assistant, workspaces, and @ mentions without duplicating files outside your Nuxeo instance.
Who can configure it
Organization administrators only, from Settings > Organization > Integrations. The connection is shared with authorized members of the organization.
Setup guide
Step 1: prepare Nuxeo access
- Confirm the API URL of your Nuxeo instance, for example https://nuxeo.example.com/nuxeo/api/v1.
- Use an account or application key with read access to the spaces you want to expose.
- Optionally choose a root path, such as /default-domain/workspaces, to limit the visible scope in Ordalie.
Step 2: configure in Ordalie
- Go to Settings > Organization > Integrations.
- Add Nuxeo, then enter the Nuxeo URL, user, password or API key, and optional root path.
- Validate the connection. Ordalie tests access by listing the first available folders or documents.
How it works
- Navigation: Ordalie exposes Nuxeo folders as a file tree usable from workspaces.
- Search: name searches use native Nuxeo queries and respect the configured root path.
- Documents: files with blobs can be downloaded and analyzed by the AI assistant.
- Metadata: some records without a downloadable file can be exposed as record.yaml files to preserve useful information.
- Security: private or local URLs are blocked outside development, and requests are time limited.
Supported operations
- Browse Nuxeo folders.
- Search documents by name or title.
- Read and analyze downloadable documents.
- Use Nuxeo files in chat, workspaces, and workflows.
- Write and delete operations are not supported for this integration.
FAQ
Can I restrict access to part of Nuxeo? Yes. Configure a root path and use a Nuxeo account whose permissions match the intended scope.
Why do some items appear as record.yaml? When a Nuxeo object has useful metadata but no downloadable blob, Ordalie can expose it as a YAML file so the assistant can read it.
