GINO
GINO is a contract management platform. Once it is connected to Ordalie, contract families, versions, signed files, attachments and directories become available from your workspace, where you can browse them, search them and use them with the assistant.
Availability and access
- GINO is an organization integration configured by an organization administrator.
- It is available with Ordalie MAX when the integration is enabled for your organization.
- Setup requires the HTTPS URL of your GINO platform and an API key issued for that platform.
- Read Only is the default. Read & Write can also allow attachments and new Word documents at configured destinations. Ordalie does not replace or delete existing GINO documents.
Setup guide
Step 1: prepare GINO access
- Obtain the HTTPS URL of your GINO platform and a scoped API key from your GINO administrator.
- If your team needs to copy new Word documents into GINO, also obtain the destination domain code. You can optionally choose a destination folder inside that domain.
Step 2: connect in Ordalie
- Open Settings > Organization > Integrations, then find GINO.
- Enter the platform URL and API key.
- Choose Read Only or Read & Write. If you want to create new GINO documents, also enter the destination domain code and, if needed, a destination folder.
- Save the connection. Ordalie checks that it can reach the platform before making GINO available in the workspace.
How it works
- Open GINO from the connected sources in your workspace. Contract families behave like folders and contain their versions, Word or PDF files, signed files and attachments.
- Search by document name and available metadata. Once supported files have been indexed, their contents can also be searched from Ordalie.
- Open a file for review, add it to a project, mention it to the assistant or use it in a workflow without moving the original out of GINO.
- Choose Create a working copy to edit an independent copy in Ordalie. The editor keeps a link back to the GINO original.
- Where your access allows it, choose Copy to… to save a Word document to a configured GINO destination, or Add attachment to place a file under an existing contract family.
FAQ
Does Ordalie change existing GINO documents?
No. Reading, searching and creating a working copy leave the source document unchanged. Even with Read & Write, Ordalie does not replace or delete an existing GINO primary file. Write access is limited to adding attachments and creating new Word documents at configured destinations.
Why is a copy or attachment action unavailable?
The action only appears when the selected GINO resource and your connection allow it. Creating a new GINO document also requires a destination domain code and a Word document in DOCX format.
Which permissions apply?
GINO is shared as an organization source with authorized Ordalie members. The GINO API key and its platform permissions determine which documents the connection can reach.
