OneDrive

OneDrive is Microsoft's personal cloud storage service. Connecting your OneDrive account to Ordalie lets you browse, search, and use your cloud files directly within the platform — without downloading or duplicating them.

Who can configure it

Any PRO user, from Settings > Integrations. This is a personal integration tied to your individual Microsoft account.

Setup guide

Step 1: Connect your account

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find OneDrive and click Connect.
  3. Choose the access level:
    • Read Only: Ordalie can browse and read your files (recommended for most users).
    • Read & Write: Ordalie can also create and upload files to your OneDrive.
  4. A Microsoft OAuth popup will appear. Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize Ordalie.
  5. Once authorized, the popup closes and your OneDrive appears in your integrations list.

Step 2: Start using your files

Once connected, your OneDrive files are immediately available:

  • Use the @ mention system in conversations to reference OneDrive files.
  • Browse your OneDrive through the workspace panel in chat.
  • Search across your OneDrive content using Ordalie's search.

What happens during connection

Ordalie requests the following Microsoft Graph permissions:

  • Files.Read.All (read-only mode) or Files.ReadWrite.All (read & write mode)
  • offline_access for automatic token refresh

Your access token is securely stored and automatically refreshed when it expires. You can revoke access at any time from your Ordalie settings or from your Microsoft account security page.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I connect a shared OneDrive or a work drive? A: The personal integration connects to the default drive of the signed-in user. For shared drives or organizational storage, consider using the SharePoint integration instead.

Q: What is the file size limit? A: Ordalie can read files up to 10 MB. Larger files will be detected and listed but cannot be analyzed by the AI assistant.

Q: How do I disconnect? A: Go to Settings > Integrations, find your OneDrive connection, and click the delete/disconnect button. This removes the stored tokens and stops syncing.
