Ordalie in Word and Outlook

The Ordalie assistant opens in a pane next to your Word document or Outlook email. Once the add-in is installed, click Ordalie on the ribbon and sign in with your Ordalie account.

In Word

Ask a question about the document or the selected text, or pick a quick action:

  • Draft clause inserts a clause at the cursor.
  • Improve the wording rewrites the selected passage.
  • Proofread and fix corrects errors and inconsistencies in the document.
  • Review risks comments on the main risks in the document.

Edits are applied as tracked changes and remarks as Word comments. Accept or reject each suggestion in the pane, or click Accept all or Reject all.

In Outlook

Select an email, then choose Brief email, Draft reply, Check risks or Extract tasks, or ask your own question. The prepared reply opens as a draft in Outlook: you review it and send it yourself. Click an attachment shown in the pane to add it to Ordalie.

Limits

  • Ordalie never sends email: it only prepares drafts.
  • Attachments over 25 MB cannot be imported from Outlook.
  • Some Word clients do not support tracked changes or comments: the pane tells you when this is the case.
