Ordalie partners with Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University on two diploma programmes
Paris, 2 September 2025. Ordalie will provide legal AI training and platform licences to students on two diploma programmes at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University under a partnership for the 2025–2026 academic year. The agreement covers the university’s “Digital Transformation of Law” and “Data/AI and Digital Law” programmes.

Using AI in legal practice requires more than learning to operate the software. Lawyers must consider how they frame research questions, assess the answers and verify the underlying sources. Training must therefore begin with a clear understanding of the technology’s capabilities and the judgements that remain the lawyer’s responsibility.
Ordalie will deliver several hours of training across both programmes, covering how legal AI works and how students can use it effectively in their research and analysis.
Students will also receive licences to use the platform, giving them the opportunity to put these methods into practice through legal case studies and explore how specialised AI can fit into their work.
The partnership brings legal education closer to the technologies already reshaping practice, with an emphasis on the rigorous methods that underpin legal reasoning.

It draws on both internal knowledge and more than 8 million legal reference sources.
Its technology is based on proprietary semantic search models designed for the French and European legal systems.
