Import PowerPoint presentations in PPT format

The import picker accepts PowerPoint .ppt presentations alongside .pptx files. On import, the PPT file is converted to PPTX so it can open as a presentation in Ordalie.

The slides then use the same reading and editing commands as PPTX presentations.

With the assistant

After importing the file, for example, ask:

  • “In the public presentation ‘Enquete publique environnementale’ in my workspace, how many slides are there and which publication requirements does it describe?”
The assistant reads the imported PPT and cites its publication slide

Limits

Import converts the older format; it does not guarantee identical rendering for every presentation. Protected or damaged files may still fail to open.
