Connect an IMAP mailbox

Besides Gmail and Outlook, you can connect any IMAP-compatible mailbox, for example the one from your email host or your firm.

Connect the mailbox

In your workspace, click Connect a source, then Other mailboxes. Fill in:

• Mail provider (optional): a preset fills in the server address.
• IMAP server: imaps://host:993 or imap+starttls://host:143.
• Username and Password or app password.

An administrator can also connect a mailbox shared with the whole organization with Shared mailboxes, in the Enterprise & Admin section.

Use your emails

The mailbox folders appear as columns in your workspace. Open an email to read it; its attachments are listed below it. Search emails by word, sender, recipient or subject, then add an email or an attachment to your request to the assistant.

Limits

• The connection is read-only: Ordalie does not move, delete or send any email.
• The connection must use TLS or STARTTLS.
• Mailboxes are available from the Pro plan.
